Dear Nathan Hale Huskies Families,

It is time again to take our planning for Gridiron ‘Fest 2012 into high gear, so we have tentatively planned to meet on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 5:30 pm and plan to finish in plenty of time to watch the NCAA Tournament National Championship game that night.  The location will be sent to you later in a separate email.  Our new Head Varsity Coach, Mr. Brandon Ehret, will be in attendance so you will have an opportunity to hear some remarks from Coach Ehret on the new direction of Huskies Football.

Thanks in advance for a great turnout and we’ll look forward to moving forward with a great fundraising activity in June, Gridiron ‘Fest 2012.

Thanks,

Jeff Williamson

Dear Nathan Hale Huskies Football Nation,

Our season has ended sooner than we all had hoped, so we are now prepared to reflect and celebrate with our Annual Football Banquet to be held on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Nathan Hale High School cafeteria.  All players, coaching staff, and families are invited to attend.

The format this year will be for the Football Families to provide the food and beverages as outlined below:

ALL Current Freshman & Sophomores – Please bring a MAIN dish or SIDE dish of proportion to feed 10 - 12 people.

ALL Current Juniors – Please bring beverages, which should include milk, water, or 12 pk. of soda again in proportion to provide for 10-12 people.

ALL Current Seniors – Please bring desserts in proportion to feed 10-12 people.

We would greatly appreciate an idea of how many people are planning to attend, so please respond to this email ASAP indicating which family is planning to attend and approximately how many will attend.

In addition, the Team Parent Coordinators will be contacting folks to assist with activities such as food distribution, decoration, or clean-up.  Please feel free to contact me if you can assist and that information will be passed along to the appropriate team parent coordinator.

Remember that the 2012 Football season is now underway.  Please encourage the underclassmen to establish weight room habits now and continue to build strength and agility during the “off-season” to help ensure a return to the success we all desire for Nathan Hale football in the future.

We will be scheduling a Huskies Gridiron Club meeting in the near future to plan a fundraising event during the winter involving players and families to supplement the ‘Fest.

We want to personally thank everyone that was involved in supporting Nathan Hale Football during the 2011 season.  Countless hours of time and financial sacrifices were made for the betterment of the program and we all greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Jeff Williamson, Dawn Smith, Carrie Versnik, Michelle Bansemer
